Danny Battles, President, Ceco Concrete Construction

Danny Battles Named Ceco President

As of Jan. 1, 2020, Danny Battles began serving as President of Ceco Concrete Construction, L.L.C. Battles had previously served as Senior Vice President of Ceco’s Southern Operations.

In his 31-year tenure at Ceco, Battles has served the company in various roles and levels of management, working at Ceco operations in Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, Dallas, New Orleans and — most recently — San Antonio for the past 12 years.

Battles has worked on numerous noteworthy Ceco projects throughout the years, including the renowned Chase Field in Phoenix. Chase Field, formerly Bank One Ballpark, is the nation’s first stadium with a retractable roof over a natural-grass playing surface, which was replaced by synthetic turf in 2019.

Battles holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Oklahoma State University.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to lead Ceco Concrete Construction into its next chapter,” says Battles. “We have a strong team in place to help us achieve our mission of leading the construction industry in the delivery of innovative, client-focused, structural solutions that provide exceptional client results.”

Ceco would like to thank retiring president Jim Schwamman for his 38 years of service and contribution to our company and industry.
