It was a season of giving at the Ceco companies. In November, the Ceco Leadership Studio participated in our annual Bike Build for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), where teams squared off against each other to assemble 18 bikes for foster children represented by the local CASA agency. The event was duplicated by our Ceco Southeast office in Tampa, FL. Teams in Tampa competed to build 22 bikes for foster children represented by the local CASA office. In our Bike Build event, teams receive an equal number of bikes to build. The event includes built-in challenges, a quality inspection and Santa dollars the teams must retain to stay on budget. The team that builds their bikes first win the coveted Nutcracker Trophy. A good time for a good cause is had by all.
In Kansas City, Missouri, Ceco and Heico Operations Center employees assembled backpacks filled with personal care items and other needs for area homeless at their holiday party. More than 120 backpacks were purchased, stuffed and then handed out through the local Uplift Organization. The Ceco Operations Center also conducted a clothing and personal care item drive for the Kansas City area.
