“I enjoy being an integral part of the construction process and seeing a project reaching completion from preconstruction and value engineering all the way through project top out,” explains Chacon. “The first project I was a part of onsite was the Central Park East Parking Garage. The project was an 11-story parking garage with a free-standing concrete elevator core that extended another 16-stories. Climbing up the free-standing core and looking down on the jobsite and downtown Phoenix is something I will never forget (you never forget your first).”
