Tom Fogg is the Southwest Regional Manager of Ceco Concrete Construction in Phoenix, Arizona, where he oversees the provision of concrete formwork and concrete frame construction. With 36 years of experience with Ceco straight out of college, Tom is a perfect example of the longevity and loyalty of our people. He has held many positions throughout his career, growing his concrete formwork and frame construction experience and making him the adept leader that he is. Tom’s tenure working at Ceco offices in Hartford, Connecticut; Denver; Norfolk, Virginia; and Phoenix has given him the opportunity to build many iconic structures, and he’s still taking them on with the same fervor for helping our clients.
“My goal when beginning my career was to work for a company that performed the work with their own crews as opposed to managing other subcontractors, and Ceco fit that bill,” explains Fogg. “Being able to work with the design team and our clients to improve the construction process and final product has always been very rewarding, and Ceco excels in this area.
“One of my many favorite projects was a horizontal deck slab we did on Dear Island for the Boston Harbor Clean-up Project. Our engineering team designed a method to ‘float’ 8,000-lb tables by using air hover units located at the four corners of the form. To see one person be able to move a 4-ton table with one finger was very cool.”
